First Projects (Post-Ph.D.)

I have several projects that need lots of love and attention.

  1. I am currently being considered for writing textbooks for an indigenous bachelor level program to be used perhaps for the next decade or longer. If approved by the committee, I will need to focus the next three years in writing textbooks for their curriculum. Believe it or not, this is a dream come true of answered prayers! However, it will require tons of research and the budget to acquire said materials. I have applied for a (financial) means to make this happen.
  2. I have to edit 12 papers for publication in the next two months.
  3. I am partnering with Outlier’s Academy to bring FaithLife’s entire Mobile Education course catalogue via Logos Bible Software to Nepalese students once the funds are raised. Currently, some of the best scholars in the world have contributed over 220 of their courses for view. We tried to raise the funds on another website. It never took off. The site is now defunct and the owner is AWOL. He is focusing on other ways to minister, so this project may be dead.
  4. In the future, I look to bring various online courses to Nepali students while I attempt to develop my own online classes. The latter would be greatly assisted by the research in the first project above. I currently am trying to get students enrolled this summer in some courses.
  5. I am halfway through my first class post-Ph.D. teaching at the MTh level in Nepal. I need to work on the balance of the class as the first half went so smoothly. I have to enter now into a field I have not studied much to prepare the second half while trying to do the second project above.
